Total phosphorus content was determined by spectrophotometric method including mineralization, hydrolysis of the ash with nitric acid, filtration and dilution followed by the formation of a yellow compound with a mixture of ammonium monovanadate and ammonium heptamolybdate and photometric measurement at a wavelength of 430 nm on the spectrophotometers Cecil CE 7250 and Agilent 8453 UV-visible5,6. The protein content of these products is also presented, and was determined by total combustion method.
