Purpose of the Pressure Gauge Test
In order for the clutches and/or brakes to operate correctly, the oil pressure to the clutches and/or brakes must be within specifications. If the oil pressure is below or above specifications, damage may occur to the clutches and/or brakes by over heating, dragging, and slipping. These symptoms will cause reduced production of the machine and customer concerns.
The pressure gauge test is conducted to determine if the oil pressure in the manual steering clutch and brake system is within normal operating specifications.
