Non-metric multidimensional scaling (nMDS) ordinations
were used to show the trajectory of temporal dynamics
of the samples, while the spatial patterns of body-size structure
of the protozoa and annual water quality status were discriminated
by the routine CLUSTER. Mental analyses were done by
running the routine RELATE to signify the relationships between
similarity matrices, and the routine BIOENV (biota-environment)
was used to identify the environmental drivers to the spatial variations
in body-size structures of the protozoa (Clarke and Gorley,
2015).
