Technology is the fifth factor of human life. People are connected by social media. They are using their smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops and other digital devices from the moment they get up until the time they go to bed including when they are working, studying, reading even during eating or exercising. The use of electronic devices has increased in each year. According to The Vision Council (2014), “69 percent of American adults use a smartphone on a daily basis compared with 45 percent three years ago and 42.5 percent use a tablet or e-reader, compared with 26 percent in 2012” (p.1). Smartphone is the best and biggest technological advancements so that people prefer smartphone mainly. Smartphone has been key factor offering better way to communicate with people, opportunities to learn new thing, ease using several applications, and business development. It is said that smartphone has made life easier and more comfortable. On the other hand, the smartphone also has negative effect because of the blue light. One reason that blue light can damage your vision is playing smartphone while in inadequate light. Another reason is the blue light has effect on the headache because of repeating eye strain, (The Vision Council 2013). Finally, receiving more blue light from using smartphone it disturbs brain working system in order that this can be cause of lost memories, (Vandewalle et al. 2013). However, spending significant amounts of time looking at a screen causes blink rates to reduce, resulting in dry, itchy or burning eye as well (Bhasker medical college, 2013). Nowadays, many researchers are interested in the blue light because it directly impacts on user’s eyes. Consequently, behavior’s user is important to deal with eyes uncomforting from the blue light impact.
