Students can choose a double degree option and combine their Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) with another area of expertise. Freshmen may be granted direct entry into a double degree programme upon admission on the basis of outstanding academic results.

The Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) programme aims at developing well-rounded students who are schooled in a diverse range of subject areas. Students will master the fundamentals of business management and leadership, and in the process, gain insights into the major areas of global business. A distinctive feature of the BBM is the prestigious and highly competitive Lee Kong Chian Scholars Programme which allows scholars to enrol in a double degree programme, with Business Management as one of the two degrees. Students choose a business major from a choice of seven business specialisations (corporate communication, finance, strategic management, marketing, operations management, organisational behaviour and human resources and quantitative finance). Concentrations within the finance major (wealth management concentration, international trading concentration, investment banking concentration, financial risk analysis concentration) and management major (entrepreneurship concentration) enhance students’ competitive edge in the job market.

SMU's undergraduate law programme aims to mould students into excellent holistic lawyers who will contribute significantly to society. The objective is to produce law graduates who have contextualised knowledge and the ability to think across disciplines and geographical borders. The innovative and broad based Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) curriculum has an international focus. It gives students a powerful blend of IQ and EQ - hard knowledge skills and soft people skills, which include skills in analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, presentation, leadership and teambuilding. It also inculcates in students a strong sense of social and ethical responsibility. Add to this are the compulsory Law internship and Law study mission which expose students to real working life and hence provide an insight into their future career choices. The curriculum comprises a careful mix of University Core courses, Law Core courses, Law-related courses, Law electives as well as General Education courses to ensure that graduates possess the desired contextual and cross-border knowledge and expertise.
