Perusing digital data
The data that the National Library of Korea collects ranges from books, magazines, scientific journals, newspapers, graduate theses to audio-visual data, audio recordings, micro data, maps, musical scores, etc. The National Central Library retains the original database which was self constructed using digital technology for the academical and informative value. Members can search through and make use of the vast amounts of the collected data from Korea's main public library system such as domestic and overseas web databases, e-books, e-magazines, and overseas Korea-related resources. All data is available through the Dibrary portal (www.dibrary.net), but most data is available only inside of the digital reading room, and except a very small portion of data, only the collection catalog can be searched from outside of the digital reading room.
