Outside the EAST experimental hall in a laboratory is where you may find the gamma spectrometer. The concrete wall of the hall is 1.5 m thick, with a collimator (4 cm in diameter) perpendicular to the plasma on the equatorial plane. The wall's thickness allows the spectrometer to operate in optimal measuring circumstances.
