The subjects accomplished three sets per exercise,
with a 60 s break in-between the sets. In
the last set of each exercise, the subjects were
asked to perform as many repetitions as possible.
(b) The individual load was recalculated
after every training session using the 1 RM
method with the last set of squats as a reference.
The vibration stimulus for subjects in
the RVE group was weekly increased with
5 Hz from 20 Hz to maximally 40 Hz during
weeks 5 and 6.
