It comes with 3 thick Silk Strings. They're used in the Tea Ceremony as "Tsubo kazari Temae". Sorry, we don't have the knowledge to tie them.

"Meibutsu-gire" is the most prestigious and precious silk fabric, which had been admired by tea experts and nobles since 10th century. There are hundreds kinds of "Meibutsu-gire" and each fabric has its own name, came from the name of collector or a following, importer to Japan, area to produce, motifs, famous tea utensils which was used and so on.
