Riyadh: The alleged death of a group of Saudi women in Bahrain in a collapsing ‘Dinner in the Sky’ restaurant were strongly denied.
Sole agent of the ‘Dinner in the Sky’ restaurant in the Arabian Gulf region Ali bin Mohsen Al-Faleej said the video recording, which went viral, is not authentic.
He pointed out that the footage shows a restaurant in Morocco, adding that it had been doctored, reported local Arabic daily Sabq.
Al-Faleej claimed that the ‘Dinner in the Sky’ chain of restaurants didn’t not have any accident in the world over the past ten years.
He pointed out that the restaurant had obtained a security and safety certificate from the TUV German accreditation firm.
“The Dinner in the Sky restaurant is regularly inspected and checked to ensure highest safety standard for customers and employees, including safety belts and the type of crane being used,” he said
