Job Summary
Develop product plan and strategies to profitably grow the business that align with the analysis/findings.
Work closely with Strategic Sourcing to sourcing products that meet customers’ needs/requirements/specification and be able to negotiate the price for cost effectiveness
Create a clear competitive landscape and guide the Sales Team on the agreed product plan e.g. product positioning (specification & applications), new and potential market, price, and promotions (if any)
Propose plan to Head of Sales
Communicate the agreed plan to the Sales Team and other key stakeholders
Monitor/acquire market information , regularly exchange and update market information to enhances sales by sourcing functions intelligence and for proper business decision making
Monitor market trend, sales trend, share of market, key competitors both existing and new entries to ensure all KPIs are met. And propose collective action plan when the performance trend to out of track.
