Allied Security Bursary
Allied Security established bursaries in 2008 for the purpose
of encouraging students to attend Lincoln University to further
their tertiary education.
Value: $3,000.
Tenure: One year.
Applications close 31 October, with the Scholarships Office.
Argyle Award
Set up in 2004 in conjunction with Mr Gordon Holmes,
the scholarship is available for study in agriculture, and
preference will be given to applicants from the
Marlborough region.
Value: Up to $4,500 towards tuition fees.
Tenure: One year, but previous applicants may reapply in
subsequent years.
Applications close 30 September, with the Scholarships Office.
Ballance Agri-Nutrients Scholarships
Available to people who wish to enter the agricultural
industry. Ballance awards up to four scholarships annually
to grow know-how in the rural community by supporting
agricultural students.
Value: $4,500.
Tenure: One year.
Applications close in October.

Basil Parkes Scholarship
Established by Basil and Judith Parkes to provide financial
assistance to students who wish to undertake studies in
land-based degrees or diplomas. The scholarship awarded is
based on financial need and an interest in natural resource
management.
Value: Varies each year.
Tenure: One year.
Applications close 31 October, with the Scholarships Office.
Beef + Lamb NZ Undergraduate Scholarships
These scholarships are intended to assist degree students
who have a good academic record, possess strong
interpersonal skills and have a passion for the New Zealand
livestock, meat and related agribusiness sectors.
Value: $5,000.
Tenure: Duration of degree.
