-After someone sneezes, it is polite to say “God bless you,” or simply “Bless you.” In the former time Christian people believed that your soul left your body when you sneezed. If someone said “God bless you,” you soul would go back into your body. Today they no longer believe this, but it’s still good manners to say the words, to show that you care about the other person’s health. Another thing to say is “Gesundheit” (gay-ZOOND-height) which is German for “Good health”
