The configuration of a PV/FC hybrid power generation system considered in this paper is shown in Fig. 1, which consists of a PV system with maximum power point trackers (MPPT), a pressurized advanced alkaline electrolyzer with a DC/DC buck converter for H2 production, a compressor that compresses H2 production at high pressure, a pressurized storage tank for H2 storage, fuel cells with a DC/DC boost converter for H2 utilization, and a DC/AC inverter for load demand. PV system converts solar irradiations into electricity.
