Have you ever wondered what it’s like to go to prison? Now’s your . A former maximum security jail in Holland has just been turned into a luxury hotel. Het Arresthuis –which is Dutch for “The Judgement House” – was one of the Netherland’s most notorious prisons. But now it’s 105 cells have been turned into 40 chic and spacious suites. Each room has free WIFI, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. And the hotel has a gym, sauna and an organic herb garden. The designers have also kept some parts of the original jailhouse, including the solid metal doors and the bars across the windows. In the evening, the hotel serves special “prison” dinners, where guests dress up as inmates and eat together at a communal table. One guest wrote on TripAdvisor, “We loved our stay in cell #9 and would certainly ‘do time’ there again.”
