I still have not received you QC report for glaze percentage, uniformity and clamping per day code. These are the most urgent reports we need to get before shipment tomorrow to customer.
The test you performed to the Central Lab was a waste of money. I think I need to involve more to guide in this matter:
1. Sample did not mention day code or lot number.
2. Sampling size did not follow Pinnacle's Foods Spec.
3. Sample do not represent the whole product shipped.
Please send me the testing method of sodium, sulfite and phosphate in English.
Sodium unit should be reported as mg/100g, so is phosphate. Make sure you indicate is it phosphate, or phosphorous, or added phosphate.
Please refer back to Pinnacle Foods spec for the requirement of tests. Then set up a test protocol and let me look at it. Please note that drug residue tests shall cover all day codes. They accept composite result. Whereas all other tests shall be individual day code. My suggestion is to consolidate small lot anything below 20 cases into bigger lot.
Make sure you do the correct sampling for the next load.
You don't have to test all products the same way as required by Pinnacle Foods. However, please note some customer such as Safeway requires different ways of chemical testing and QC.
