In Figs. 2, 3, 6, and 7, the variation of number of infected and protected nodes have been plotted with time for values of
inflow rates A and B of susceptibles and infectives nodes respectively. It is noted that as A or B increases, the number of infective
nodes increases and correspondingly the protected nodes also increases (see Figs. 6 and 7).
Figs. 4 and 8 show the role of antivirus program l with time for infected and protected nodes respectively. It is noted that
l increases the number of infected nodes decreases but the number of protected nodes increases.
It is also found that if antivirus program does not work effectively or fail to work efficiently, the number of infected nodes
increases rapidly (see Fig. 5).
