Sodium Potassium ATPase
The sodium potassium ATPase is a plasma membrane pump responsible for the extracellular transport of sodium ions and the intracellular transport of potassium ions. It is highly conserved and ubiquitously expressed in animal cells.
The image on the left shows alpha 1 sodium potassium ATPase staining of primary alveolar type II epithelial cells using ab7671. The secondary antibody was conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488.
