The length of egg ranged from 2.7 mm to 3.0 mm with an
average of 2.8 mm while the width ranged from 2.1 to 2.7 mm
with a mean of 2.5 mm. Eggs were oval, flattened dorsoventrally
and dull white in colour. The incubation period of eggs ranged
from 8 to 10 days with a mean period of 9.2 days. Nazar
(1990) reported incubation period of egg in Attacus atlas
ranged from 6 to 12 days. In Attacus mcmulleni, the eggs
measured 2.8 mm in length and 2.4 mm in width and
incubation period of 10 to 11 days
