1. Rinse DO probe with deionised water and blot dry.
2. Place 1000 mL baker on the magnetic stirrer place. Gradually pour the deaerated water in to
beaker. Turn on magnetic stirrer.
3. Immerse the probe and thermometer into the deaerated water, record the initial dissolved
oxygen concentration and temperature.
4. Insert the diffuser into water and turn on. Record the DO value and calculate the degree of
saturation for every minute until achieving saturation.
