There's also a great deal of television unconnected with violence, or opposed to violence. But people pick out from television what they want to see. lf they pick out the more brutal forms of programme to watch heavily , the evidence available at the moment suggests that-particulary between children and adolescence-these may well have an effect in promoting more aggressive behaviour in real life.
