Rooms Division Manager
The Rooms Division Manager leads the Rooms Divisions Team in the provision and delivery of personalised Guest Care and Relations in order to enhance the guest experience of the hotel, thereby creating great memories for the guests.
The Room Division Manager’s duties include:
Managing all Rooms Division Departments
Maximising profits by ensuring the highest occupancies at maximum yield
Ensuring high levels of guest service standards to achieve customer satisfaction and return business
Financial responsibilities consist of:
Achieving budget – rev par room rate
Prepare budgets and forecasts
Interpret financials
Expense control
Ensure correct rates are charged
Authorise rate reductions
Effectively managing people in order to maximise the effectiveness of staff and develop their potential
Ensuring that the necessary safety and security procedures are adhered to within Rooms Division
Ensuring maintenance is timeous and effective
Implementing / monitoring all procedures required in the Rooms Division
Being an integral part of the Hotel management team and contributing to overall effectiveness
Monitoring and follow-up on key account utilisation of hotel
