2.8. Statistical analyses
All results are expressed as means ± SDs of at least three independent
tests. The significance of the differences between the
treatments was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed
by Duncan’s multiple range test for multiple comparisons.
The correlation between two variants was analyzed by application
of the Pearson test. All of the statistical analyses were performed
using SPSS software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences
for Windows, ver. 10.0; SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA), with the level
of significance set at p < 0.05.
