Fig. 2 shows the SEM image of fiber samples as received indicating that the fiber sample consist of thick and long fibrils. The imageof milled fiber samples in Fig. 2 indicates that the cellulose and hemi-cellulose structure has been broken down into shorterfractions with more exposed cellulose structure which increase the external surface area and porosity for increased conversion by cellulase. The shinny spot in Fig. 3 was found to be the metal residues.
