Good night Yuva.
Thank you for your kind words and understanding about Brooke and my ex-wife. I understand
Meaw, Flor and May had lunch yesterday. For whatever reason, my ex-wife came up. I am
sure Meaw has an entertaining perspective of her. Brooke and I only rarely talk about it. Brooke
gives me some perspective and I have pretty much told her everything. She already dislikes the
woman. No sense in me giving her additional fuel for her dislike.
I am also pleased to hear Mac finished his military classes. Just one very important part of life to
get out of the way! The last thing anyone should ever have to do is witness the kinds of things
that occur on a battlefield. Especially with Islamist Terrorist. They are cowards, and they do hide
behind innocent women and children. The sooner the world understand this very truthful fact, the
sooner they will no longer be able to recruit younf men and women to their cause.
Looks like the insurgents are busy. In Yat Yai, they attacked a municipal office with gun fire.
No one was injured in the shooting, but right after the shooting stopped, two bombs went off. The
bombs exploded five minutes a part from each other. The obvious plan was to also try and injure
first responders to the first bomb. That way when the second bomb went off, some of the first
responders would also be among the injured. The two explosions killed four and wounded six.
Three municipality workers and one civilian was killed and three of the six injured were first
responders trying to help the victims of the first bomb.
There are also allegations of torture being conducted by the military since the imposition of
Marshall Law. The government denies it. There are two groups, Amnesty International and
Thai Lawyers for Human Rights that claim abuses have been going on, and refuse to provide
the names for their statements for the protection of those who reported the abuses. This could
become ugly if these two organizations can prove their claims.
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think of you always.
Randy
