Aircraft Management
Welcome to the world of private aircraft ownership! Owning your own aircraft opens up many exciting possibilities that can’t be taken advantage of in any other way!
From making the most of your leisure time, to efficiently moving you and your people to and from business ventures, owning your own aircraft has long ago surpassed commercial air travel in the areas of comfort, and utility, and now, safety, security and certainly convenience as well! Let’s face it, the romantic heydays of commercial air travel are long gone.
Yes, in the current world climate owning a private aircraft is becoming more useful, almost more necessary, than ever before. But ownership doesn’t end with the title company. After acquisition there are quite a few other questions (sometimes with many complex options), to be dealt with. You’ll need a safe and convenient place to keep it, and a trained and reliable crew to fly it. There’s fuel, maintenance and cleaning to be addressed, as well as insurance and FAA regulatory issues! And of course you’ll need an administrator for all of this. And unless you have a fleet of aircraft, having your own flight department isn’t very practical or cost effective.
As they say, “Every Rose has its Thorn”.
This is where Business Air Management comes in.
Business Air Management has been answering these questions and the needs of aircraft owners for years. Helping owners have “more Rose and less thorn” is what we do.
Certainly one of the first things to come up will be finding a home for your aircraft that will not only keep your investment out of the harsh environment, but also be safe, secure, and as easy for you to access as the family sedan…almost.
Here at Business Air Management, our location on the Denton Municipal Airport makes us very easy to access. You’ll find no bumper to bumper traffic or multi-level parking garages that put you miles from your airplane. In fact, you’ll drive directly to the aircraft and while you board we’ll park your car inside a secure location.
Our complex includes 4 storage hangars, two of which are capable of housing jets up to Gulfstream size, and all of our facilities are insured of course. And as you’ll be sharing the hangar with other managed clients, storage costs are controlled.
Unless you are flying the aircraft yourself, you’ll need an aircrew. And if you aren’t sure of how to acquire and qualify a pilot, don’t worry, we certainly do. We can help with locating a pilot, qualifying, and training concerns. We know who to look for to make sure you have a reliable and safe crew that can get you where you need to go, when you want to go, while taking care of you, your family, employees and of course the investment in your aircraft, all at a cost you can live with!
Fueling that bird is another issue to be addressed. Business Air has that covered too. As the longest standing Fixed Base Operator on the Denton airport, we have our own in-house fuel tanks so we are able to offer great pricing to our managed clientele. When you contract with us, we’ll set up a fuel pricing structure that will always be much more economical than the going “street rate”. Once again, providing ease of fuel access, and controlling costs. And when it comes to moving your aircraft into and out of the hangar, or fueling and washing it, our line service personnel are the best! We have a very low employee turnover rate, and many, many years of experience in our line service staff to help ensure proper handling and no bumps or bruises to your bird!
You will also have access to our nicely appointed terminal area, where you’ll find luxurious lounge areas to relax in before or after you flight, or to meet other members of your party. You’ll find free WiFi, several televisions, clean restrooms, not to mention three varieties of hot coffee, decadent cookies, fresh ice cream, and everything you need to make yourself and your guests comfortable.
For your business needs, there are rental cars available, guest computers and a conference room is available as well.
We make sure your aircrew has what they need to not only relay in the pilots lounge, but also provide them with a pilot briefing area with weather, maps, etc. And when it’s time for your flight, we can make sure you have catering and newspapers aboard, along with fresh hot coffee and ice for your galley.
Truly, Business Air Management makes owning and operating your aircraft as
pleasant as you always imagined it should be.
But it doesn’t end there; Let us put your aircraft to work for you!
After your flight is over, Business Air Management can help you with the cost of ownership in several ways.
For years Business Air has operated a small fleet of corporate sized aircraft in the charter market to help our clients turn their aircraft into a business with the financial and tax benefits that come with it.
Many owners choose to defray the cost of ownership by allowing Business Air to add their aircraft to our charter fleet. This means that when you aren’t flying, we can offer it to our other clients on a charter by the hour basis. This practice has many benefits to the owner including making the aircraft into a business asset with the resultant tax advantages, and producing hourly revenue rather than sitting in the hangar between flights unused and unproductive.
Moreover, you’ll then have access to our in-house charter maintenance department at a huge discount over retail cost to keep the aircraft in top shape and further control costs. This includes near total coverage from replacing a light bulb, or fixing a seat that won’t recline, to performing those large required inspections. We’ll keep the records stored here, interface with the FAA on your behalf, deal with insurance issues, and take the confusion and headache out of the maintenance process.
Additionally, our excellent charter department will handle the advertisement, scheduling, security checks, and revenue collections for you, and can even help you arrange your own flights, from rental car reservations, to hotels, negotiated fuel prices when you are away from base, and many other full service benefits.
All of this is just a phone call away at 940-898-1200.
Or shoot us an email if you don’t feel like talking right now.
