Access to network-based diagnostic tools
Most service providers have their own test tools. By
providing a user with access to a subset of these
tools, via a suitably simplified user interface, initial
demarcation of the problem can be performed and
an indication given as to the most appropriate
support organisation for the user to contact. This
could be highly beneficial to the service provider in
reducing the number of inappropriate calls their
support service receives, while still offering a
helpful customer experience.
