The participants of this study were thirty second year English for International
Communication students who were studying in the first semester of the academic year 2013
and they have ever been to study English phonetics. The research instrument was test, consisted
of /p/ and /b/ consonant sound. There were ten questions and each question contained two words
of /p/ and /b/ for listening and the participants circled the correct word that they have heard.
