Other researchers have used RFID to create a communication network for pedestrian localization. An indoor navigation approach intended to VI was presented by [4], [5], [6]. This system is inspired from the navigation guide dog. It includes a Pioneer 2DX robot platform, a navigation toolkit, 16 ultrasonic sonars, an RFID receiver and radio-tags for localization. This robotic platform is attached to a leash as a substitute for a guide dog.
