The Technical/Quality Manager is responsible for carrying out internal audits of the Intertek Quality System on a regular, predetermined basis, in his or her absence the audits may be conducted by suitably qualified personnel.
The complete Quality System shall be audited at least once per year in accordance with SP 7/1, to determine the Intertek Quality System’s effectiveness and that the system is implemented correctly and maintained. The previous Internal Audit results shall be used to highlight potential areas of concern, and to ensure effectiveness of the corrective actions set in place.
