Jamaica
This is the Caribbean’s second largest island. Ocho Rios, Jamaica’s port, comes 15th in Wild and Dearing’s survey and was voted best cruise port in the Caribbean by the World Tourism Awards in 2011. Jamaica has an array of natural wonders such Dunn’s River Fall, and offers cruise passengers the opportunity to climb the waterfall, take an expedition to the Blue Mountains, an undersea tour or visits to caves. The wide range of options reflects the natural and cultural diversity of this island. Music, epitomized by the late Bob Marley, plays a big part in Jamaican culture- reggae orinated hee, and it is still a focal point of the island’s rich historical heritage.
