Vitamin C deficiency results in Scurvy- Symptoms include bleeding gums and lost of teeth-This was especially common amongst British Sailors in the past.
Vitamin D deficiency results in rickets, where your bones stop hardening properly. This causes rickets in which the legs are bent giving a “bandy legged appearance”.
Iron Deficiency causes anemia, which is a condition in which the number of red blood cells (RBCs) is reduced, or there is a reduction in the level of haemoglobin in the blood.
Calcium Deficiency causes poor bone development.
