Nakhon Phanom Province is known for its long history, lush natural resources and the famous Ok Phansa festival when many tourists come to see “The Naga fireballs” (Bang Fai Phaya Nak) risen from Khong River. The province also has Si Khotrabun Golden Beach, a not-to-be-missed tourist destination that is listed as Unseen Thailand.
Si Khotrabun Golden Beach is located in Nai Muang Sub-district, Muang District of Nakhon Phanom Province. It is one of the most beautiful river beaches in northeastern Thailand. The beach can only be seen during dry season, from February to May, when the sand extends to the middle of the Mekong River.
