Comparing the results obtained by Silva et al. (2001) for jatoba-do-cerrado (Hymenaea stigonocarpa Mart.) and jatoba-da-mata (Hymenaea stilbocarpa Mart.), it is noted that these species have higher-fat pulp, 3.03 and 2.92%, respectively, compared to 1.94%found for the species examined in this study (H. courbaril L.)
