After observing the line performance since end of 2014 many small modifications have been done. All of them had some positive effect. But it can not be denied that there is still a huge discrepancy to the capability of a new line. Whether it is reasonable to invest further millions of Euros into this plant or directly invest into a complete new line is depending mainly on the development of market requirement and raw material availability. The actual performance of the line has to be accepted to be the almost best possible if no major modifications will be carried out or lower board quality could be accepted. These modifications would require extended plant stops to be able to install the new equipment. Still then compromises would have to be accepted and many minor problems would continue to remain which could still prevent the plant to deliver significantly better performance.
Best current solution to improve the performance soon are mentioned above such as better thickness control, upgrade of gluing and forming, of course steelbelt replacement and hydraulic overhaul.
Any improvement in Contiroll output would then lead to a requirement to upgrade sanding and cut to size capacity as well as dry area improvement. Subsequently drier and chipper would then be the bottleneck.
