countries such as Brunei as transit points to avoid detection by enforcement agencies in destination countries.
With this fact in mind, the NCB is implementing policies designed to prevent drugs from entering the country and check their use through preventive drug education, supervision and rehabilitation.
In order to do this, the NCB plans to promote greater public awareness of the problem and disseminate its anti-drug message through activities such as advocacy and information programmes, school-based drug prevention programmes, workplace-based drug prevention schemes and urine screenings.
As it is, we don't want our country to become a transit point for drug mules. We have to take note that no country in this region or even in the world can overcome the drug menace alone. That's the reason why we have to give priority to working together with other Asean member countries to eradicate this menace that endangers our next generation that will be the future stakeholder in this region.
