A review of questionnaires returned by data collection teams revealed that information had been obtained from all parts of the country, including the more remote and inaccessible areas, for which there was previously little data. A total of 211 cities and counties, located throughout all 10 provinces in the country had been visited, and in general, nation-wide data collection was found to have been completed in a satisfactory manner. The data collection questionnaires, developed during the first phase of technical assistance, were proven to be an effective instrument for this purpose, and in the main, it was evident that the data-collection teams had completed their task in a satisfactory manner. Data obtained on refrigerators and freezers was considerably more comprehensive than that on transport and accessories for the cold chain however, and more attention should have given to the latter categories.
