In line with both the scientific literature
and current legislation, this Report considers
the evidence relating to all work hazards.
These can be broadly divided into
physical hazards, which include the biological,
biomechanical, chemical and radiological,
and the psychosocial hazards.
Psychosocial hazards may be defined as
“those aspects of work design and the organisation
and management of work, and
their social and environmental contexts,
which have the potential for causing psychological,
social or physical harm”.
