Quantitative determination of capsaicinoids in this work was
performed using capsaicin as external standards by means of a five
points calibration curve. The regression equations was
y ¼ 80,266x þ 1839 with correlation coefficient R ¼ 0.9987 (n ¼ 5),
and the linear range was 0.054-0.27 mg. The contents of capsaicinoids
were described as the total contents of two main capsaicinoids
(i.e., capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin).
