Ben-Asher et al. [1] surveyed 465 smartphone users regarding their security needs, awareness and concerns in the
context of mobile phones usage.
Findings are that people consider some information sensitive (e.g. photos) and worry about physical attacks on their phones. Responses also show that users are interested in security and data protection.
Although the work aims at proposing a two-level security model for mobile phones grounded in the users needs, it cannot be used for the security assessment of mobile devices.
