The present study reveals that 1 L Keller juice can ferment
and produce 12% V V1 of ethanol, the total alcohol yield in the
stock from a hectare of land is in between 1.5 and 4.5 m3, since
the average plant number per hectare is 90,000. The total juice
obtained is between 20.7 and 34.3 m3 ha1. Smith and Buxton
reported that 0.33 g g1 sugar was utilized during fermentation process and can produce 4.31 g L1 h1 ethanol [18].
