Seed deterioration of rice during long-term storage is an on-
going problem. Although favorable storage conditions (Specht
and Rner 1998; Suszka et al. 2014), such as low-temperature
and gas-controlled facilities, can partly alleviate grain
deterioration, these methods not only consume large amounts
of energy and materials, but are not suitable for individual
farmer use. The process of seed aging and degradation
include lipid peroxidation, and oxidative stress (Basra et al.
1994; Varghese and Naithani 2002; Kumar and Mishra
2014). An economic and efficient approach was to a solution
