Dear Colleagues:
 
As I mentioned in my earlier message, the Board of Governors approved recognition of everyone’s hard work during 2015. This recognition will be equitable across GIA locations and will vary based on local conditions.
 
Year-End Recognition
Year-end recognition for Thailand staff up to and including directors will be made in February 2016. Institute vice presidents and above will not be eligible. As I shared with you in September, the payment will be based on the overall performance of our Institute and the economic condition of the industry. 
Salary Adjustment
In place of performance-based merit increases and based on local conditions, the Board approved salary increases for all eligible Thailand employees, effective January 2016. Your salary increase percentage will be communicated by your manager.
 
The executive team worked to provide GIA staff with recognition even in this trying industry climate. Thank you for all you do to advance our mission.
