the second set of‘ bursts would be higher than those from the first set of bursts. This was indeed the case as is evident from the figure. The time inteival between the oscillatoiy bursts was about 1.5 ;is and this was about half the nominal time-to-peak value ot the impulse voltage applied. The second set of oscillations existed for a duration of approximately 800 us and these were then the subject of analysis. It should be noted that all rcsults presented in Table I were for a probe height of I in for both Position 1 and Position 2. The values in the table were the highest peak values obtained. The columns refer to the probe positions and the rows refer tti the z, y, or c component. For example, column 1 gives the results of the highest peak values of the r , p, and a components of di9/ it measured at Position 1 with the probe at a height of I m.
