Loxley Wireless Plc, the telecommunications network arm of Loxley Plc, has forged an alliance with China Telecom Global Ltd in a bid to be selected as a private partner with TOT Plc.
The wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with Loxley Wireless in April in a move aimed at becoming a strategic private partner to help the state telecomprovide fourth-generation (4G) wireless broadband service .
Vasant Chatikavanij, a senior executive vice-president of Loxley Plc, said details of the alliance between Loxley Wireless and China Telecom had not yet been worked out.
"We've initially agreed in principle to develop a full range of cooperation, depending on various business opportunities," he said.
