Experiment Results
A small-scale experiment setup (Fig. 13) is built to verify
the functionality of the proposed system. The specifications of
this setup are given in Table II. The three-phase transformer
consists of three single-phase transformers (VPT48-10400),
and the secondary windings are rewound to get the desired
voltage level. The 12-pulse diode rectifier consists of two threephase
diode bridges (SC50VB80). Two inductors are connected
in series to get Lf . The filter inductors were hand wound around
a ferrite E80 core. The MOSFETs used for the buck-andboost
converters are IXFH40N50Q2. We used the TDS5034B
oscilloscope from Tektronix and associated measurement and
analysis software to capture the experimental waveforms and
perform power quality analysis.
