The objective in this part was not to make a complete
study of the rate of destruction but to explain the observed
phenomena in soxhlet experiments (i.e. the very low
amount of extracted andrographolide with low percentage
of ethanol or pure water solvent) and help the temperature
choice for the industrial implementation of the process. A
simple first-order reaction was then be supposed in respect
of andrographolide concentration to represent the global
kinetic of destruction.
