BA / BS - in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business.
Minimum of 5 years HR experience in Human Resources. Prefer 10 plus years experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with a non-union shop.
Communication - Strong Communicator - Ability to understand and explain Benefits to employees as the Human Resources point of contact on benefits programs including the design, cost structure - reduction and waste avoidance.
Compensation Administration – HR related compensation experience with the impact of pay decisions on internal equity and external competitiveness.
Diversity HR Management – Has Human Resources related experience in implementing and administering policies related to diversity.
Labor Law – Provide HR guidance with a good understanding of employment laws.
Human Resources Data Management – Understands Human Resources information requirements. Employee Relations – Incorporates H.R impact of employee relations on employee effectiveness.
Corporate Citizenship, Community Relations, Corporate Communication – The company requires that he or she will be an outstanding communicator and represent the division president effectively, have exceptional interpersonal skills and understand how to represent a division of a Global company effectively at key state, county and city functions.
SPR / SPHR – certifications a plus - Not required (Society of Human Resources Professionals).
Prior Experience in Manufacturing is a huge plus, experience at Automotive OEM or Tier 1 companies will be considered a huge plus also.
