streptomycin were higher in E. coli from pork (31% vs. 40% and 26% vs.
36%). The number of resistances ranged from zero (26% of chicken,
39% of pork isolates) to a maximum of 14 in one isolate from chicken
(slaughterhouse) and 11 in one isolate from pork (retail), respectively.
