lesion and swelling at entrance wound; thin strips of discoloration on the sapwood
3 At-least 30cm portion of the branch or stem within the entrance wound showing lesion,
swellingand sapwood within the portion and more is discoloured; thick oozing from wound with
strong rotting fruit odour; slight curl of leaf margin and chlorosis of some portions of the crown;
early decay and liquid-filledstem wood; presence of beetle and its larvae
4 Large portion of the branch or stem showing lesion and swelling with very dark oozing from
stem wound;chlorosis of whole crown, wilting, necrosis with some defoliation, branch dieback;
desiccation of affected branch and stem wood; presence of beetle and its larvae in the wood
